My photographic journey began in 1985, capturing moments on 35mm film.

 

In 2005, I transitioned to the digital realm, embracing new technologies while continually refining my craft.

Since the summer of 2020, my passion for photography has quite literally taken off. Purchasing my first DJI Mini opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities, offering perspectives once reserved for pilots and birds. 

 

I work with multiple cameras to suit different subjects and styles — using Fujifilm gear for street and travel photography, and OM System cameras for landscapes and wildlife. I’ve been flying drones for nearly five years and now operate two — providing flexibility in both flight location and image quality. 

 

I’m registered with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and with my sub-250g drone, I can legally fly in urban areas and over uninvolved people where required. I also hold an A2 Certificate of Competency, allowing me to operate my larger drone (with a 1-inch sensor) in more demanding environments and closer to people — capturing higher-quality stills and video footage. 

 

Whether from ground level or above the treetops, I strive to create compelling images that showcase the beauty and perspective of the world around us. Alongside my ongoing photographic projects, I offer limited-edition prints and cards for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
